Bhagat Singh
An extraordinary revolutionist born in early India. he was the hero of Indian Independence Movement.
Bhagat Singh and his associate Batukeshwar Dutt threw a bomb in British Legislative Assembly in April 1929 and allowed Britishers to arrest them.
An order was passed by the British government in 1931 to hang Bhagat Singh, Shivram Rajguru, and Sukhdev Thapar by the neck till death.
1. Early Life
Bhagat Singh was born on 1907 to Kishan Singh and Vidhyavati, they were Sandhu Jat by caste.
He was born in Banga village, Jaranwala Tehsil in the Lyallpur District of Punjab( now in Pakistan ). on the day when Bhagat was born his father and his two uncles Ajit Singh and Swaran Singh was released from the jail coincidently. some of his family members were in the Army of Maharaja Ranjeet Singh and some were in Indian Independence movement.
His grandfather Arun Singh was a follower of Swami Dayanand Saraswati which influenced Bhagat Singh.
Bhagat Singh was not enrolled in Khalsa High School Lahore instead of that he was enrolled in Dayanand Anglo-Vedic High School which was an Institution of Arya Samaj.
He was forced to get marry but he ran away and left a letter behind he said:-
My life has been dedicated to the freedom of the country. Therefore, there is no rest or worldly desire that can lure me now.
2. Revolutionary activities
On 30 October 1928 Lala Lajpat Rai led a march in protest against the Simmon Commission. Police attempt to disperse the crowd resulted in Violence, The Superintendent of Police A Scott ordered the Police to Lathi Charge. Rai was seriously injured and died on 17 November 1928 by Heart Attack.
Along with Bhagat Singh HSRA was in the mood to take revenge of Rai's death. Bhagat Singh conspired with the freedom fighters like Chandrashekhar Azad, Shivram Sukhdev, and Rajguru Thapar to kill A Scott.
Head constable Charan Singh was injured by Chandrashekhar Azad's cover firing while chasing them. the police blocked all the exits of the city and started a seach operation to catch Bhagat and his associates.

3. Bomb blast in the Assembly
Bhagat Singh planned to explode a bomb in the Central Legislative Assembly, the main moto was to show their protest against the Public Safety Bill and the Trade Dispute Act which was rejected by the British Assembly.
Bhagat just needed a stage to publicise their motive.
4. Hunger strike in jail
Bhagat Singh was arrested for murdering Saunders on the basis of avidance found against him, Jai Gopal and Hans Raj Vohra both were two asoociates of Bhagat Singh but they gave their statement against Bhagat Singh.
Bhagat Singh was sent to Central Jail Manwali from Delhi Jail. there he saw discrimination between European prisoners and Indian prisoners.the food quality was woarst as compared to Delhi jail.
They demanded for equality in clothing, food standard and other hygene.
A hunger strike was started Bhagat and his associates which was supported by the peoples. the british government tryed many things to break the hunger strike like they put a pot of milk at the place of water.at last the hunger strike became famous among the peoples.
5. Hang till Death
On 23 March 1931 an order was passed from the court that Bhagat Singh, Shivram Rajguru, and Sukhdev Thapar will be hanged by neck till death at Lahore.
