As from the latest election results in Uttar Pradesh. BJP achieved a historic won over the other parties.

After the party meeting, BJP decided that the new chief minister of Uttar Pradesh will be Aditya Nath Yogi.

On 5, June 1972 in the village Panchur, in Pauri Garhwal District Uttarakhand.Mahant Aditya Nath Yogi was born.
The childhood name of Aditya NathYogi was Ajay Singh Bisht.  
Belongs from a Garhwali Rajput family. his father Anand Singh Bisht was a forest ranger.

Aditya Nath Yogi has done his bachelor degree in Mathematics from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University in Srinagar, Uttarakhand.

* Became Yogi

Aditya left his family at the age of 21. He became a disciple of Mahant Avaidhynath.
He becomes the Head Priest of Gorakhnath Temple. After the death of Mahant Avaidhynath on 12 September 2014.
Yogi become the Peethdhishwar of Gorakhnath Temple on 14 Sept. 2014.

* Political Career

In 1994 Yogi became the successor of Mahant Avaidhynath of Gorakhnat Math. In 1998 was elected as a member of the Lok Sabha. He was the youngest in Lok Sabha.
He was elected to Parliament from Gorakhpur in consecutive years 1999, 2004, 2009 and 2014 elections.

* Hindu Yuva Vahini


After winning the first election Yogi his own Militant group named "Hindu Yuva Vahini" known for its
violent activities in eastern Uttar Pradesh.
