Padmini is a legendary Indian Queen also known as Padmavati. as described by various poets she was exceptionally beautiful.

Rani Padmini was from Singhal kingdom Sri-Lanka and got married to Rana Ratan Singh Sisodiya of Chittor Garh.

1. Padmini's childhood

Padmini was born in between 13th -14th century at Singhal Island (Sri-Lanka). She was born in Sen (Sengar) Rajput Clan. her father Gandharv Sen was the king of the Singhal Kingdom.
Rani Padmini was very beautiful from her childhood. she was very famous among the peoples of Singhal Island for her beauty.

2. Hiraman

Hiraman

Hiraman was a talking Parrot, he was a very close friend of Padmini. when king Gandharv Sen come to know about the close friendship of Hiraman and Rani Padmini he pased an order to kill Hiraman but Hiraman flied away, he was catched by an bird catcher. the bird catcher sold Hiraman to a Brahmin.
Brahmin went to Chittor Garh and sold Hiraman to king Rana Ratan Singh.
Hiraman described the beauty of Padmini to Ratan Singh after that Ratan singh was fascinated by the beauty of Padmini.

3. Ratan Singh got Married to Padmini


After hearing about the beauty of Padmini by Hiraman Ratan singh decided to go to Singhal Island.
At Singhal Island Ratan Singh got married to Padmini.

4. Alauddin Khilji


Alauddin Khilji was also fascinated by the beaty of Padmini. he firstly saw the reflection of Padmini in water. he attacked on Chittor but it ends with a peace treaty but he decievefully capture Ratan Singh and took him to Delhi.

5. Gora and Badal


Gora was the head of Ratan Singh's Army and Badal was his Nephew, both were great warriors.
Everyone in Khilji's army were afraid of them.

6. Johar


Ratan Singh died in the war between him and Alauddin Khilji. as a result all the 16000 queens along with Rani Padmini decided to attempt Johar.
JOHAR :- It is a process in which especially Rajput womens jump in a well full of fire to be safe from other mens.


This whole story was the breaking news few days before because famous film director Sanjay Leela Bhansali started a movie project on Rani Padmini at Jaipur but a group of peoples named Rajput Karni Sena attacked on the whole team of production.

Two gentle slaps were also provided to Mr. Sanjay Leela Bhansali. the reason was the romantic shot between Rani Padmini and Alauddin Khilji which is totally diffrent from real story.

We should also raise our voice against this type of kidding with history, we should pass our history to our coming generation.
